In this project, a system for green façades is being developed and investigated, which is intended to promote biodiversity in urban environments by planting selected plant species and initiating a high structural diversity. For this purpose, about 20 green façades in the region of Stuttgart will be analysed over two years with regard to different factors in order to investigate the effect of these façades on their surroundings.
