Informations about Infrastructure Planning (MIP) and Water Resource Engineering and Management (WAREM)

The Institute’s participation in the Infrastructure Planning (MIP) and Water Resource Engineering and Management (WAREM) study programmes responds to the need to provide students with basic knowledge of how to assess the environmental impact of infrastructure projects. In the MIP programme, this a mandatory module. Relevant problems are explored both methodologically and through the application of geodata-based techniques. In addition, the Institute communicates ecological aspects in interdisciplinary coursework and teaching. The “Urban Ecology and Design” module of the IUSD study programme is also available as an elective for students of the MIP and WAREM programmes.
